HISTORIC MAIN STREET LOCATION -
In 2003 the law firm purchased and remodeled an historic turn of the century Queen Anne style Victorian home located on Main Street in Boise, Idaho. The firm is located near the Idaho State Capitol, the Idaho Supreme Court, and adjacent to the new Ada County Courthouse.
JOYCE A. HEMMER was born in Albany, New York, on July 2, 1980. She moved to North Carolina, in 1989 and received a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication (News and Editorial Sequence) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002. Ms. Hemmer earned her law degree at William & Mary School of Law in 2005. While in law school, she clerked for the Honorable Richard L. Voorhees, U.S. District Court Judge for the Fourth Judicial District, interned for the Virginia Court of Appeals Chief Staff Attorney, and served as Articles Editor for the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review.
After law school, Ms Hemmer moved to Idaho with her husband, a Boise native, and served as law clerk for the Honorable Joel D. Horton, District Judge for the Fourth Judicial District of Idaho, from August, 2005, until she joined Brassey, Wetherell
& Crawford as an associate in June, 2006. She has been admitted to the Idaho Bar and U.S. District Court Bar for the District of Idaho. Her practice focuses on insurance defense, as well as other civil litigation matters.
